Gestoofd Rundvlees (Daging Malbi)

Ingrediënten:
3 sjalotjes
3 teentjes knoflook
1/2 theelepel laos
1/2 theelepel gemberpoeder
650 gram rundvlees
1 blikje tomatenpuree
2 laurierblaadjes
2 eetlepels donkere basterdsuiker
4 eetlepels ketjap manis
500 ml kippenbouillon
250 ml kokosmelk
Bereiding:
Doe de sjalotjes, knoflook, laos en gemberpoeder in de keukenmachine en maak hiervan een kruidenpasta. Bak in olie het runvlees mooi bruin. Doe wat nieuwe olie in de pan en bak de kruidenpasta ongeveer 1 minuut. Doe het rundvlees terug in de pan en voeg de tomatenpuree de ketjap, de basterdsuiker, de kippenbouillon, de cocosmelk en de laurierblaadjes toe. Breng het geheel aan de kook. Als het kookt zet je het vuur lager en laat je dit alles 2 uur op met deksel op de pan stoven.
Serveer met rijs en vergeet niet de laurierblaadjes uit de saus te halen.
